Enhancements to Possible Service Opportunities page

Several updates were made to the Possible Service Opportunities page to improve usability and efficiency for Cubiko users, these included:

  • A new ‘Show all patients’ toggle which was added to include patients with no identified opportunities in the ‘Upcoming appointments with service opportunities’ table.
  • The much-loved ‘Open in new window’ feature was introduced, allowing Practice Managers, Nurses, and Receptionists to view patient details alongside Bp.
  • QuickCheck results are now visible in the ‘May be eligible for’ column, enabling faster eligibility confirmations for Bp practices with QuickCheck permissions.

February

Enhancements to Flu Vaccination page

A new table was added to the Flu Vaccination page, offering insights into how many of each type of flu vaccine were administered during past seasons and progress tracking for the current season. Practices can filter the data collectively or by individual flu seasons to better understand their vaccination efforts.

New Ethnicity Filter

A new Ethnicity Filter was introduced, enabling practices to refine patient lists by ethnicity. This enhancement supports tailored insights across Item Optimisation and Past Clinic Metrics, helping practices provide care that meets diverse patient needs.

New Vaccination Support metrics: Shingles Vaccine

To support practices during the Shingrix shortage, new metrics were added to identify patients eligible for the shingles vaccine or needing a second dose. These metrics also highlight immunocompromised patients, including conditions outside the four specified in the NIP eligibility. We recommend consulting a practitioner to determine if the patient is eligible for the NIP vaccine.

Enhancements to Cubiko's Bulk Billing page & insight into your privately billed invoices and items

As we prepared for the next financial year, we recognised the importance for practices to gain a detailed analysis of their total billed items and bulk billed items, along with key data on private billing amounts and percentages.

New metrics were introduced to analyse bulk billed and privately billed items in greater depth, including breakdowns by practitioner and item number. Historical data comparisons were added to help predict trends from within the practice, such as previous financial year data and growth patterns over these periods.
